NY Table Talk - Plan for Your Law Firm's Succession Now, Even If You're Not Ready to Retire
(Virtual Event)

Without proper planning, first generation law firms tend to only last as long as their founders do. You’ve spent a lifetime building this important asset. If it’s properly managed, the sale or succession of your firm can help support your next season of your life.

In this program, you'll learn about five different transition scenarios to help maximize the financial returns from your firm, starting with the pros and cons of each one. Review a “Value Drivers” Scorecard to help you identify what adds value to your firm whether you sell it, merge with another firm or have a successor in place. This exercise can help you add thousands of dollars to your firm’s valuation. Gain perspective whether you’re interested in selling your firm, merging with another firm or looking for a successor – there are more exit strategies out there than you realize.  This table talk is being led by Shawn McNalis, Shareholder / Practice Advisor Trainer / Curriculum Director of Atticus, Inc.
