Virtual Speaker Series - Understanding Bias and Inclusion

This session will be part panel discussion and part presentation. We will touch on many biases from race to obesity. The goal of this session is to gain a greater understanding of what makes each of us different and how it can affect our jobs and working relationships. You will walk away with some additional knowledge and tools to help you navigate and enhance our diverse community.

Diane L. Camacho, DLC Consulting Services LLC

Diane L. Camacho is the founder of DLC Consulting Services, LLC which provides on-demand legal management, operations and back-office services to small and solo law firms. She is a Certified Legal Manager with over 25 years of legal management experience and a degree in organizational behavior and leadership. Diane teaches Law Firm Management at San Francisco State University, speaks on law firm management issues and is a NetDocuments Certified Partner.

N. Damali Peterman, CEO ,BreakthroughADR

Damali is the Founder and CEO of Breakthrough ADR LLC and Damali Law LLC, respectively. Damali has extensive experience in corporate law, mediation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

Damali represents and advises businesses (large and small) and individuals in corporate and commercial matters. She has represented and advised some of the world’s largest companies in high profile corporate matters. She routinely negotiates with General Counsel and other senior executives on behalf of her clients, and delivers effective and innovative solutions. Damali approaches her clients’ issues from a holistic viewpoint and endeavors to both understand and solve the specific matter at hand, as well as advance the overall business goals of her clients.
